Mylore & Liezl - Engagement Session

What a lively shoot! These two love birds so fun to be around, and although our shoot started out with a "traumatizing find/incident" in SUB, it didn't really faze us at all! Liezl, you are first person I know who thinks stilettos are comfy to walk in! :P This girl has the amazing talent to jump, kick, and climb in 3 inch heels! Mylore, you're a lucky man! :)
We are excited for your wedding in a couple of months, and can't wait to show you the rest of these photos!

It's been a while since I last posted. One of my newer projects over the last month or so, I've been taking pictures for a wonderful dog training and agility school, Sherwood Barks. As some of you may know, I am a HUGE dog lover, and being able to hang out with puppies and taking their pictures is so much fun!! Branching off from this, we're also offering pet lifestyle sessions. Puppies grow up so fast, and its always nice to have their pictures taken when they're at their cutest. Below are some of my favorite pictures, or maybe just ones I can add captions to!

Edmonton Bridal Expo!!!

Hello blog viewers!

KAIO Photography is super excited to be an exhibitor at the Edmonton Bridal Expo! We've been busy trying to get everything together over the last few weeks, and our goal is to make our booth as informative & interactive as possible! That being said, it's going to be a ton of fun, so come see what we've come up with by purchasing tickets at The Bay, Home Outfitters, Elegant Touches, The Bridal House or online.

Levina & Joe - Engagement Session

We had a blast this weekend shooting Levina & Joe's E-Session. After a bit of fun downtown we headed to their future neighborhood for some autumn shots in the evening. This couple was one of our first bookings for 2009 and also the last wedding of the summer. Its been a crazy/awesome summer and looking back, we had a lot of fun! Connie, your smile radiated throughout the church as you walked down the aisle. And Ben, that speech you gave Connie in CHINESE was one of the best pronounced speech I've ever heard from someone who doesn't speak Chinese! Congratulations Ny & Mark! I partnered up with SNP's Photographer Allan for this shoot and we both decided that you definitely showed us how to party...Vietnamese style! I especially liked the last part when Mark belted out a tune for his lovely bride..in two octaves higher than his vocal range! Nevertheless, it simply amazes me how you two are so much in love with God, that every part of your day included him as the center. Labour Day Football - Stamps VS Eskimos

Here are the long awaited photos from the Labour Day Football Game at McMahon stadium in Calgary. Being a sideline photographer was another experience in itself! I wanted to capture not just the game itself, but the atmosphere of the stadium, the excitement of the cheering fans, and the emotion of the players, all the while not trying to get hit by huge 200+ pound men (which almost happened on one of the plays!). I had so much fun learning how to anticipate for the plays, walking around Astroturf "grass", shooting alongside other professional photographers, and seeing way to many streakers up close for my own good!
